Author Tad Williams said it best: “Never make your home in a place. Make a home for yourself inside your own head. You’ll find what you need to furnish it – memory, friends you can trust, love of learning, and other such things. That way it will go with you wherever you journey.”

Home, for many of us, lives inside us. We build it piece by piece- every life experience we have, it’s no longer a material thing; it’s no longer tangible. Discovering whom we are, what values we subscribe to, where we work and whom we surround ourselves with create it.

The opportunities we have available to us as women now are amazing, which allows us to expand our definition of home to a much broader scale than ever before. We cannot be afraid of this new definition. We must push ourselves to test our boundaries, seek out new challenges, find the learning opportunities in past negative experiences – nothing is wasted. Each step we take helps us to become our most authentic self.

Enjoy becoming the person you were meant to be. Find that person in new adventures, new challenges and new places; as they help you find yourself, your strengths and your joys. No matter what – “HOME” is always inside you, you carry it wherever you go. Learn more with this video.
