Geraldine Vang Cox receives Recognition of Eminence

The Recognition of Eminence Award was presented to Dr. Geraldine Vang Cox, NN. Gerry was vice president and technical director of the Chemical Manufacturers Association for more than 20 years. Since retiring in 2005, Gerry travels the country as an environmental specialist for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and volunteers for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), a program within Citizen Corps.

A former White House Fellow, Gerry has appeared on numerous television and radio programs, given interviews for newspaper and magazine articles and testified before congressional committees. She has authored more than 50 technical publications and is the recipient of many professional and other distinguished awards.
