Pittsburgh National Convention

Category:

National Events

National convention was held in Pittsburgh.

Highlights:
In her opening speech, National President MaryAnn Sidehamer Linton, ΓΗ, emphasized the convention theme, “As I Live, I Affect,” when she spoke of the losses, the growth, the purposes, the ideals and the future of Alpha Sigma Alpha.

Many members’ fondest memory of convention was the speech given by President Emerita Wilma Wilson Sharp, ZZ, at the scholarship luncheon. Speaking of past conventions and her experiences in Alpha Sigma Alpha, Mrs. Sharp brought to tears the eyes of all who listened as she proved that as one lives, one does indeed affect.
