I am passionate about helping to make the world a better place at the end of the day. Will it be grand monumental gestures? Probably not. Will it be noticed and recognized by the news media, most definitely not. The changes I help create are going to be within the organizations I give my time and energy to, the social causes I feel deeply about and doing what is right to make it a bit easier for the next person on this path in life.
Nikki started her Alpha Sigma Alpha journey as a founding member of the Zeta Upsilon Chapter at University of Lynchburg (formerly known as Lynchburg College) in 1998, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history in 2001. While in college, Nikki served as the standards chairman and the vice president of programming and ritual.
Starting her volunteer career in 2006, Nikki served as an advisor of the Epsilon Tau Chapter from 2006-09 before beginning her volunteer role at a national level with the Volunteer Management Team in 2007 and went on to serve as the team leader from 2009-16. She was the Alpha Sigma Alpha Panhellenic Delegate for Washington DC Panhellenic starting in 2005 and served as president in 2018-19. Nikki was also a member of both the Charm City and Washington DC Alumnae Chapters and is currently the point of contact for the Greater Baltimore Area Alumnae Association. In 2012, Nikki was the recipient of the Agape Award. Leading up to her service as a trustee, Nikki served as Region 11 Facilitator from 2016-20.
