“Above all else, my greatest passion is for education. It is such a powerful tool that has a great capacity to change lives. Whether it’s watching my young daughters learn something new, helping a college student work through a misstep, or watching a first-generation student graduate, I really love what education can do for people.”
Nicole earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Grand Valley State University, a master’s degree in higher education and student affairs leadership from Western Michigan University, and is a Ph.D. candidate in educational leadership at Western Michigan.
She served as a leadership consultant in 2008-2009 and has been continually volunteering for Alpha Sigma Alpha since in roles ranging from the Zeta Tau Chapter social advisor to the risk management project team leader. Currently, Nicole is the director of student conduct at Western Michigan University
