STRENGTHS: Deliberative, Relator, Harmony, Responsibility, Analytical
I am passionate about teaching the younger generation about personal finance. I have worked in underserved areas and seen the cycle of living paycheck to paycheck first hand. My goal is to teach people that does not have to be the case. If you can understand how money works and get control of it you can be and do anything you want to do in life.
Jane holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and insurance from Indiana State University and a master’s degree in professional accounting from Indiana University. Before joining staff in 2016, she served as a financial coach and instructor at Ivy Tech Community College and as an adjunct accounting/mathematics professor at the Art Institute of Indianapolis and Brown Mackie College.
Jane oversees accounts payable and receivable; processes all membership initiations, badge ordering and certificate ordering; recommends improvements to financial policies and procedures of national headquarters and assists the executive director with the financial administration of the organization.
