“You can always tell who the strong women are. They are the ones you see building each other up, instead of tearing each other down.” This quote is a good reminder that it’s not enough to only focus on becoming your most authentic self but that we also have to help each other become strong, confident and intelligent women that can rule the world. Together we are stronger.
Mac earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Saginaw Valley State University, MI and her master’s degree in college student personnel from the University of Southern Mississippi. After graduating, she joined the national headquarters staff as a leadership consultant 2001-02.
Mac has volunteered for Alpha Sigma Alpha in several roles, including as a team member of a district education coaching team 2003-05, in multiple advising roles for the Gamma Lambda Chapter 2006-08, as the Advantage project team coordinator 2006-08 and on the curriculum development and programming task force 2012-2015
Professionally, Mac is the undergraduate program coordinator and an academic advisor in the psychology department at the University of California, San Diego.
