Lisa Stephenson Ferro, EE
ALUMNAE ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR
STRENGTHS: Empathy, Relator, Input, Activator, Adaptability
The saying “curiosity killed the cat” is very true in my life. While I don’t condone killing of any beautiful creatures, curiosity is what energizes my work and my personal life. I crave information and I always want to know more. I have come to terms that I will never feel that I know enough but that need to learn more is what keeps me moving forward.
Lisa joined the Alpha Sigma Alpha staff in August 2012. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Emporia State University, KS, and earned her master’s degree in college student personnel administration from the University of Central Missouri. She previously worked for Alpha Sigma Alpha serving as a leadership consultant from 2009-10 and as the membership growth coordinator from 2012-15.
As the alumnae engagement coordinator Lisa directs alumnae initiatives for the Sorority including managing the alumnae initiation process, developing new alumnae chapters and associations and overseeing the alumnae education programs. Lisa works closely with the volunteer coordinator to support all aspects of volunteer recruitment, placement, training and evaluation.
