Linda Wyrick Lineback, XX
Trustee
“Treat others as you would want them to treat you.” We learn this Golden Rule as children and as we grow and learn it becomes the basis of close friendships and concern for others – values that are emphasized in the purpose and vision of our sorority. I am encouraged and energized when I see our members developing and fulfilling these values through sisterhood and service.
Linda joined Alpha Sigma Alpha as a member of the Chi Chi Chapter at Ball State University, where she graduated in 1970. After graduation, she went on to serve as a field representative (now leadership consultant), province director and housing chairman. Linda worked at National Headquarters as the office administrator from 2006 to 2015; she now regularly volunteers there and serves as an archives volunteer.
Linda has had an active alumnae experience aside from her Sorority volunteer roles. She has been a member of the Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter for more than 40 years and held the offices of vice president, president and currently serves as treasurer. Linda also served as the Indianapolis Alumnae Panhellenic (IAP) delegate and was president of IAP from 1988-89.
After retiring in 2015, Linda now dedicates her time to things she loves such as working in the yard, trying out new plants and reading. She and her husband Rick enjoy traveling and sports. Linda serves her community as an active member of her church and volunteers at a local food pantry. She spends plenty of time with her mother and keeping up with the family farm, her children and her granddaughter.
Linda joined the Board of Trustees in 2019.
