This is one of my favorite quotes because it expresses how we can continue to maximize our professional, personal and volunteer roles. This journey is about improvement not perfection.
Christine graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in family & consumer science education, and she earned her master’s degree in textiles and consumer marketing with a minor in marketing from the University of Maryland.
She has served since 1990 in roles for both the Foundation and the Sorority. She began her volunteer career as an advisor for Epsilon Tau Chapter, University of Maryland-Baltimore County, and served the chapter for ten years. Christine also served her region as province director 1998-02; district facilitator 2002-04; finance leader 2002-04.
In 2004, Christine was elected to Alpha Sigma Alpha’s National Council, and served on the board for eight years as the vice president of membership 2004-08 and vice president of communications 2008-12. In 2012, she became a trustee for the Foundation and was elected as Foundation chairman in 2013.
Christine is a member of the Washington DC Metro Alumnae Association.
