When we are under stress it is challenging and physiologically impossible to be at our best. Our bodies respond to stress by releasing cortisol, which clouds our thinking. This TED Talk provides some practical tips and tricks to help manage stressful situations by thinking ahead and staying organized.

One of my favorite tips in this video is having a place for things you commonly lose, like your car keys. Being diligent about keeping my keys in one place keeps me from being late and even more stressed when I am rushing out the door on Monday mornings.
