How to prepare for Virtual Leadership Summit

We are only a few days away from the third 2021 Virtual Leadership Summit! Alpha Sigma Alpha is excited for you to join sisters from around the country in exploring essential topics for today’s emerging leader.

WHAT TO DO BEFORE THE PROGRAM

Complete this pre-program assessment before the program start time on July 29. Assessments were sent via email to those registered.

Download the most updated version of Zoom prior to the program start time. Update your Zoom account before accessing the program.

THINGS TO KNOW

Program Access
This program will be held on Zoom. All participants will be expected to log in to the Virtual Leadership Summit no later than 5:30 p.m. CT on Thursday, July 29.

In order to participate in this program, participants need to use a Zoom account associated with the email address entered in their Virtual Leadership Summit registration (This will be the same email address where you are receiving this email). If you do not already have a Zoom account associated with this email address, create one before the program start time.

All participants are required to login to the program via their own device. Multiple people on one device will not be permitted.

Each chapter is responsible for registering all participants in advance. Registration changes (including additional participants) must be communicated with Lexi Moore, program coordinator. Chapters will be charged the $70 per person late registration fee for anyone participating in the program who was not registered ahead of time.

Materials needed
Participants need access to internet/stable WiFi and a device with a webcam and a microphone.

Participants will be provided with a digital version of the program book via email the week of the program. Participants can utilize the digital program book to type their notes or may print the program book in advance.

A pen and notebook might be needed for additional notetaking.

EXPECTATIONS DURING THE PROGRAM

Participants are expected to be in attendance for the duration of the program. This includes all large group and small group sessions. View the schedule

Webcams and audio are expected to be enabled during small group sessions.

A safe, quiet and comfortable environment is needed for the duration of the program.

Attire for this program is casual. An example of appropriate casual attire can be comfortable pants and an Alpha Sigma Alpha t-shirt.
