Health & Safety Resources

All chapters and members are encouraged to take advantage of these compiled resources for themselves or others in their life. This page will continue to grow as new resources become known and available.

Supporting Members

In the fall of 2022, Alpha Sigma Alpha’s National Council hosted virtual listening sessions to provide an open forum for members to share their thoughts and ideas about the role they see the Sorority playing in supporting members and women’s rights. The listening sessions provided an opportunity for members to share their thoughts and identified ways to best support members.

In response to the feedback and thoughts shared during the sessions, the need to provide members with resources to support their physical, mental and emotional health and safety became clear. National council and national headquarters staff compiled a list of resources. The resources cover a wide range of areas from college women’s heath, substance abuse, sexual assault prevention, suicide and crisis information and more.
