About

Only the Strong Thrive: Discover Your Strengths

Do you have the opportunity to do what you do best every day? Chances are, you don’t. All too often, our natural talents go untapped. From the cradle to the C-suite, we devote more time to fixing our shortcomings than to developing our strengths. Gallup’s Strengths-Based course helps you deepen your understanding of your talents – and gives you valuable insights into how you can use them to meet your goals and achieve success. The discovery of what you naturally do best holds tremendous power and potential. A Gallup Strengths expert will help you understand how to use your greatest talents to maximize performance, and how to draw on supporting talents when the time is right.

This session will introduce Gallup’s strengths-based approach and will help you learn how to use your unique blend of talents to enhance your performance at work.
During the course, you’ll learn how to shift your focus to a Strengths-based approach by:

    1. Identifying and building upon your greatest talents
    2. Explaining the benefits of various themes and how they contribute to an organization
    3. Realizing the connection between strengths development and undergraduate /employee/millennial engagement
    4. Analyzing how talents from all themes can contribute to strengths in performing one’s role
    5. Practicing the application of talents from various themes to specific work-related challenges, roles and responsibilities.
    6. Identifying How to Lead based on each individual’s dominant talent.

Continuing Professional Education (CPE-approved): Training participants can earn up to 4 CPE credits in Business Management and Organization, Communications, and Personal Development fields of study.
