AΣA Night In coming May 20, 2021

Yes, that’s right… IN! As we continue to follow the CDC’s recommendations of social distancing, we encourage sisters to connect with each other on this night in alternative ways. Get creative and utilize a virtual resource; the possibilities are endless! You can host a virtual happy hour, trivia game, live canvas-painting class, book discussion and much more. The best part of AΣA Night Out is that your event is what you want it to be, and that is still true for AΣA Night In!

Once something is planned, the host can submit the event details through the alumnae calendar feature. Staff at the national office will then provide the host with a digital toolkit including social media images tailored to your specific event, an email template to invite sisters and more. A running list of all “AΣA Night In” events will be kept here on the website for members to see what type of activities they can participate in that night!

Happy Hour

Greater Baltimore Area Alumnae
6-8 p.m.
Just because we are all (still) playing it safe and staying in, doesn’t mean we can’t observe tradition! Join us for the virtual AΣA NIGHT IN…” fancy dress” required. By fancy dress, we mean that is open to interpretation. Use this opportunity to get creative and dress in whatever fine fare you would like. Do your face, tidy up the ‘do and retire the yoga pants for the night!

Join us for a hilarious night of games (even more hilarious with wine). All you need is a computer and a mobile device (both) to play. Instructions will be sent before the event (but it’s really super easy.)

Join the Central PA  Chapter to celebrate AΣA Night IN. Can you talk for a minute? Literally. We will be using  5 categories with subtopics where the participant is to talk for a minute on that subject/topic.

An evening hosted at the home of Kristen Gillen Hugus, to celebrate our sisterhood and each other.  Covid protocols as per that date will be followed.  Please join us for socialization and refreshments.

AΣA NOVA Night In
7:30-9:30 p.m.
Join us for a Patriotic Wreath Making & evening social with Nancy Szalwinski! Make an easy patriotic wreath for your door just in time for Memorial Day and the 4th of July! Simple materials include a 12-inch wreath frame and seven different fabrics, already cut into strips, ready for the project! That, a few easy instructions, and the ability to tie them onto the wreath frame is all you need. Nancy has 10 wreath kits prepped and ready to go. Cost per person is $20.00, including shipping to your home.

A Night of AΣA Storytelling
7:30-9:30 p.m.
What is your #1 favorite AΣA memory? What were the popular fads or trends that you and your sisters participated in at college? What are some of your favorite Alpha Sigma Alpha traditions?

Join us for this year’s AΣA Night In as we talk about some of our favorite, funniest and most meaningful moments in AΣA around the virtual campfire. Virtually meet new sisters from across the country and from different chapters, and listen to each other’s AΣA story. Feel free to bring our own drink and snacks to the call (s’mores could always help set the mood)!
