Recruitment

Recruitment is a vital component to all collegiate chapters of Alpha Sigma Alpha. Every new member of Alpha Sigma Alpha brings new experiences and knowledge to collegiate chapters. All members have the opportunity to share the sisterhood of Alpha Sigma Alpha with other women on their campus.

Alpha Sigma Alpha encourages all members to remember that recruitment is an on-going activity. Any time you meet an unaffiliated women on your campus you should take the opportunity to share with her how Alpha Sigma Alpha has impacted your life. That woman could potentially be the next chapter president on your campus or even president of the national council fifteen years from now.

There are many resources available to collegiate chapters for recruitment. All chapters should have a working recruitment plan that is shared with the entire chapter and updated frequently. If you need tips on completing a recruitment plan for your chapter please contact your recruitment coaching team leader, whose information is listed below.

Chapters must also take advantage of the recruitment workshop opportunities offered at District Day events. All chapters should send at least one chapter delegate to these workshops to learn about new strategies and best practices for recruitment from alumnae volunteers as well as other collegiate chapters in your area.

Alpha Sigma Alpha Sister Circle is also a great resource tool for recruitment. All Vice Presidents of Public Relations and Recruitment should join the V.P. of P.R. and Recruitment Group on Sister Circle. This is a great place to exchange ideas and gain insight from sisters all across the country.
