The Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation not only appreciates the financial support of donors, but also their time and talents.  The Foundation offers volunteer and ambassador positions for members of Alpha Sigma Alpha.  For more information, click on the links to the left.

Foundation supported programs

Your gifts underwrite programs that benefit collegians, alumnae and women of all ages. The Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation is committed to promoting love, loyalty and lifelong giving through financial support to Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority and its members. Listed below are some of the programs and experiences made possible by Foundation donors.

Alpha Sigma Alpha Advantage

AΣA Advantage is a leading-edge lifetime membership development initiative designed for all Alpha Sigma Alpha members. Through the AΣA Advantage online Facebook application, members are given the tools needed to become successful and contributing community members and leaders.

Officer transition

The Foundation provided a grant to the sorority for the creation of this online resource for collegiate chapters. The program is now expanding to include resources and training for volunteers as well.

Events

Emma Coleman Frost Leadership Development Institute

The Emma Coleman Frost Leadership Development Institute provides our undergraduate emerging leaders with the hands-on experiences needed to develop the skills needed to be confident and trustworthy leaders, not only for Alpha Sigma Alpha, but also for their campus and communities.

District Day 2010-11: Leading Through Service

District Day is an opportunity for local alumnae and undergraduate members to celebrate their successes, focus on personal development and gain important operational training that will give them an advantage as leaders, students and employees. National Convention & Leadership Conference

The Foundation is a proud supporter of the biennial national convention & leadership conference.  The Foundation supports this event through grants for educational key note speakers, pre-conferences and workshops.  Don't forget to save the date for the 2012 event, July 11-15, 2012 in Virginia Beach, VA.
