New National Headquarters Facility

Originally posted on Sept. 26, 2007

Alpha Sigma Alpha is currently in the stages of building a permanent headquarters facility located in Indianapolis, IN.

In the fall of 2006, the facility project team, comprised of Marianne Bullock, ΒΘ, Lori Scott, ΕΕ, Kim Benson, ΔΝ, and Krystal Slivinski, ΓΡ, began meeting to lay out the bidding and financing processes. In December of 2006, the formal bidding process began to select an architectural firm for the project. After reviewing the proposals received from several local firms, national council voted to select Cripe Architects + Engineers) as the architectural firm and Browning Construction) as the general contractor for the project.

On June 23, 2007, the Extreme Leader Weekend participants, members of the Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter, national headquarters staff and national council slipped on their “We Dig Alpha Sigma Alpha” gloves and literally dug in to get our building project started at the ceremonial groundbreaking.

Now that the project has officially kicked off, all members can see the progress of the construction through the Sister Circle group called “Operation New HQ”. Pictures and building news will be posted throughout the construction process. To access this in Sister Circle, click on Groups, then click on Find Groups, select Indiana (center column), and lastly, click on “Operation New HQ”.
