Hermes Society
Alpha Sigma Alpha is pleased to introduce the Hermes Society, an academic honor society created exclusively for members of Alpha Sigma Alpha. The Hermes Society was unveiled during the 2009 Emma Coleman Frost Leadership Development Institutes.
Eligibility includes a minimum of one year membership in Alpha Sigma Alpha, at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and having reached junior or senior status. Members wishing to apply should complete the application and submit all required documents including an official transcript, recommendation letter from university administration or faculty member and an essay on academic excellence.
Members who are accepted into the Hermes Society will be able to order the honor society jewelry. Members may choose a dangle, charm or pin (pictures coming soon). All jewelry must be ordered through Herff Jones.
Applications will be accepted twice annually on Dec. 1 and Jun. 1. Applications should be returned to national headquarters. They are also available on the Alpha Sigma Alpha Officer Portal.
