How to start an alumnae chapter
It takes five members of Alpha Sigma Alpha to charter an alumnae chapter. If you are interested in starting an alumnae chapter in your area, contact Volunteer & Alumnae Coordinator Rachael Candee.
The volunteer and alumnae coordinator will assist interested members reach out and communicate to other Alpha Sigma Alphas in their geographic area to discuss the possibility of chartering an alumnae chapter. In addition to providing contact information for alumnae in a geographic area, the national headquarters staff will provide resources for getting your alumnae chapter started and ideas for building a strong chapter.
There are Alpha Sigma Alphas living all across the United States and abroad as well who are enjoying the friendships and sisterhood alumnae chapters provide. Alpha Sigma Alpha is a stronger organization because of the involvement of its alumnae and alumnae chapter membership is a great way to stay connected to the sorority.
The petition to start an alumnae chapter, and the chapter officer and meeting report that is required for all new alumnae chapters can be found under alumnae chapter resources.
